Visible Dye Penetrant Testing Materials Super-Check

Use for detecting defects open to the surface of metals and nonmetals, and three-component product consisting of penetrant (P), remover (R) and developer (D). Organic solvent poisoning preveentive control-free and environment-friendly products are available.

U-series materials secure the flaw detection accuracy equal or exceeding the test results as compared with the ordinary type materials in accordance with MIL Standards and ASME Code.

Super-Check “Type U” is dye penetrant inspection material which chemical compositions surpass the Japanese labour safety and hygiene and organic solvent toxicity prevention regulations. Its flaw detectability is equal or exceeds the test results as compared with the ordinary materials confirming to MIL Standards and ASME code.
This type has the following features in general.

Flaw indication pattern formation becomes faster than the ordinary type materials so far in use.
Removability of Penetrant and Developer are improved.

Flash point of Penetrants are high, 70°C or more.

INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-treatment
Remove dirt from the surface with Remover

Apply Penetrant
Apply Dye Penetrant on the surface to be tested and leave it for 5–20 minutes

Remove Pemetrant
Wipe off the excess Penetrant with cloth dampened with Remover

Developing
Apply Developer uniformly over the surface

Inspect the surface
Flaws will be revealed

Post-treatment

Remove Developer with Remover

Pre-treatment : Remove dirt form the surface with Remover.

Apply Penetrant : Apply Dye Penetrant on the surface to be tested and leave if for five to twenty minutes.

Remove Penetrant : Wipe off the excess Penetrant with cloth dampened with Remover.

Developing : Apply Developer uniformly over the surface.

Inspect the surface : Flaws will be revealed.

Post-treatment : Remove Developer with Remover.
